Did you know that Trade Windows is the first company in Derbyshire to have been awarded Secured by Design accreditation by the Association of Chief Police Officers?

Our high security window range, which is manufactured to meet the specification for enhanced security performance of casement and tilt/turn windows for domestic applications, has received the BS 7950 certificate.

Secured by Design is the UK Police flagship initiative owned by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), which supports the principles of “designing out crime” by use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a range of applications.

In order to receive the coveted certificate, our range of windows was put through rigorous testing at an accredited United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) test house.

We’re committed to providing our customers with the highest standards, so we’re delighted to have received the accreditation form Secured By Design, which enables us to offer customers a product that has certified security standards.
